Default 4wd

My 07 F 150 is stuck in 4wd. I replaced the transfer case motor and still nothing. I can turn switch to 4wd low and it goes in. I turn it back to 4wd high and it goes back in, but I turn it to 2wd it wont go. Do you think it's the switch.

Did you figure it out? What do you mean by "it goes back in" ? Do the 4 low and 4 high dash lights come on? Is there adequate vacuum?
Here's a good article to start with: https://www.f150forum.com/f72/how-di...m-esof-186872/

Yes the lights come on, but not 2wd. When I say goes on the transfer case will lock in to 4wd low. Then I move the switch and you can hear it disengage and go to 4wd high. I then turn the switch to 2wd and nothing happens.

You turn the SOTF switch from 4H to 2H and the 4H light stays on in the cluster ?
