Default 4R75E Noises in first and third

I did some searching about this earlier, but only found a single post in another community.

My 07 Screw 2wd is making a clicking/scraping noise in first and third gear. Second is quiet. Reverse makes a little noise. No shifting problems. No DTCs yet. I have a 4.6L with the 4R75E(Trans code Q) and 49000 miles. Is it a clutch pack or something more serious? How do I check this out?

Thanks in advance guys and gals

Adam

Ok, no replies, but I will update anyway. My truck stopped making noises, but has made a few weird shifts. I trolled the internet and called Ford and it seems like the first step is to let Ford flush the tranny. I'm going in the morning to get this done and will report back soon.

After the flush, everthing shifts much better than before. The noises are gone and everything seems to he good again.

Its been a couple of months and the noises have not returned. The truck is still running great and I have not had any issues since the tranny flush at the dealer
