Default 4✖️4 high indicator light blinking

I have a 2004 FX4. When I put it in 4 high, the indicator light will blink go out, but when I tried it in the snow it actually was in 4 high but the light wasn't on. When I put it in 4 low, everything works normally and indicator light is on. It only acts up in 4 high. I'm new here and don't know if this had been posted before, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think it's a bulb issue. When I put it in 4 low, the indicator lights works fine unless the 4 high and 4 low are different bulbs? Sometimes when I put it in 4 high the indicators light works but most of the time it just blinks and then goes out.

Thks techrep
I just turned the ignition key to the accessories position to see if both lights (4 hi and 4 low) would come on and where they are located. They both came on so I switched the dash switch to 4 hi and I could hear the transfer case locking up and the 4 hi switch lit up and stayed lit. I put it in neutral and tried 4 low and everything worked normally. I did this 4-5 times back to 4 hi and 4 low and everything worked normally. I started the truck and did the same thing from hi to low and everything worked the way it is suppose to. I never had a problem with the 4 low not lighting up, I hoping that it's just a bulb on the 4 hi, do you know what type of bulb it is? I thinking that it might be more than just a bulb, when I turn the dash switch to 4 hi, where does the power come from to the 4 hi light? I was thinking that might be my problem?
