4 wheel light on but not engaging on 2000 FX4
Last night after our first big snow in a while, I went out and turned 4wheel high on. The light comes on in the instrument cluster but after getting stuck, I realized that the front wheels were not spinning/engaged. I've seen several threads where 4 wheel light doesn't turn on and what to do but what should I check if the light does come on and doesn't engage 4 wheel drive? Any help would be appreciated. I'm going to try and look into this more after work today.

So I just went out and looked, when I put it in 4 wheel high the light comes on but in 4 wheel low, the light does not come on. Maybe I do need to look into the troubleshooting when the lights do not come on when changing the switch.
