I don't think the Rancho kit does. I don't recall seein' shocks bein' included at the places I looked. I was expectin' to buy four new Rancho socks that are setup for the 4" lift when I get around to orderin' the kit one day.

I'd go with the Pro Comp 6" lift. Comes with coil overs and MX6 rear shocks. Rancho doesn't come with shocks so by the time you get them, the cost will be about the same.

The price of the lift with shocks comes out close to the same price, but when you factor in havin' to buy new wheels, the Pro Comp setup just got a lot more expensive. If that Pro Comp setup worked with the stock wheels, it would really have my gears turnin'.

And that's a badass truck!

Thanks,

I thought he was planning on getting new tires and wheels, if not, your right a 6" lift would be to tall for stock tires.

thats not the issue, it the backspacing needed for the lifts, the rancho will let you use the stock rims, the other kits require 4.5" BS and the stock wheels are 5.5" so thats why the new wheels factor into cost

The problem with not going big at first is it is going to cost you more when you want to go bigger later. Save up and get as big as you think you'd like and can afford. I have an 8" Rize lift and now think it looks small, but I think that happens to everyone. I also have 35's, I like the look of having a lot of room! And i didn't re-gear, I kept the 3.73's on there and did feel a power loss, but not a crazy power loss, just a little. I recommend the Rize kit, like said earlier, everyone has 6" lift, and this gives you that extra height to make heads turn!

Before and after too:

Pretty sure, I don't know how I could check but I know when I bought it I looked at the sticker and it says 3.73 gears. I kept the sticker too, gonna double check it to be sure, but one of my concerns was losing power, and after talking to the guys at the shop, they told me 3.73 gears would be ok, not too much power loss.

Check your door panel. Look for the axle code. H9 is 3.55, I don't remember what 3.73 is.
