i have an 04 fi150 crew cab and recently my check engine light came on so i reset it and nothings come back on and i noticed when i put it in 4high that the light flashes real quick then goes out but if i out in 4low it stays on, then i went to the car wash and was sitting there and all of the sudden the truck just shut off then it took a couple tries but it restarted. any ideas were to start, appreciate it

 

It sounds like it may be something electrical related to moisture. (car wash and I'm assuming some sort of liquid precipitation mud or snow I'm guessing when in 4wd). Have you checked the code that it was throwing to see what it was?

 

Yeah...what code did it throw before you reset it ???
