Wondering what the average mpg for the 4.6 4x4 crew cab is... thinkin about getting one and was just curious what to expect. would be putting diablosport predator on and k&n... any round about figures or actual figures would be much aprreciated... thanks

 

i get 11 city 13 highway on my 4.6
i have 3,73 with an auto but i dont have the big tires like you

 

I get 14 city 18 highway (pushing 80 mph whole time for 150 miles with decent load). 3:73 gear 2wd stx...

 

I am getting 13.1 to 13.4 in the city. Haven't been to the coast yet on these tires to see the highway mpg. with 35's

 

damn.... I m getting horrible gas mileage.... i only have 79,XXX too.

Stock 4x4 with 3.55's.

 

I have 4.6l but 2wd with 3.55 so 4X4 might have little worse milage. City i get 14, Hwy going around 80-90 i get 18, and Hwy going 65-70 i get 21-22.

How is that bull? ive come up with those numbers many times. It all depends how you drive. I also have gryphon tuner, gotts mod, and SI/DO magnaflow and those help also....

 

is that what the dash tells you you're getting???

maybe with the right rear axle ratio you could knock down decent #'s at 55-65, but doing 80-90 and getting 18 is comical
