Default 4.6 Intake Intake Replacement

Hey Gents,
2005 F-150....Intake is leaking antifreeze into #7 plug well, so besides intake gaskets, what else do I need for the job?
The it still runs.com write up looks like a good how to guide.
Thanks!

Well, if you have an original air intake, with the plastic crossover (which had a recall on it due to its tendency to crack and leak), its time for the updated part that has a steel/aluminum crossover. it can be found here on Rock Auto. The air intake with the metal crossover is $218

I’ve got a 2v 4.6, all aluminum upper part, is it plastic underneath? I checked, I have the aluminum intake..
So, I need intake gaskets, any other gaskets? Seal the gaskets with RTV?

Oh, if the intake is all aluminum, then I suppose all you need is intake gaskets and probably gaskets for the coolant passages.
