Default 4.6 2v Harmonic Balancer Install

Need options to reinstall harmonic balancer without a installer. I have always used the bolt but on this vehicle it is not long enough. Thank you

Get a bolt thats about 3/4" longer and pull it on as far as possible and then switch back to the OEM bolt.

See if you can borrow/rent the installer from the local auto parts store. I'm not sure which store does it but I know at least one of them does. Maybe go buy the installer, it's a whole lot cheaper than a new crank. Here's a link to one that's less that $40.00 plus shipping, and if you take care of it you'll have it forever.

@arcaguy You seem to give all sorts of incorrect information. There is no need for an install tool. Even FordTechMakuloco did it this way: Use a 36mm impact socket over the balancer shaft hole, lightly hammer until it is on just enough to stay on. Use old bolt to impact wrench it on, until it stops moving, remove bolt and install new bolt to 60ft-lbs.
