Default 4-3 downshift lag/clunk

My truck has developed a transmission problem.

While cruising say 40-60mph if I hit the gas to pass someone or speed up it will slam into 3rd gear. Any ideas on what it could be anyone else have this problem? Fluid level is good and the color looks ok.

I got the truck used with 72k on it. The car fax had a transmission service listed on it at 50k. But I don't know if that was just the filter or fluid exchange.

I found a local shop who will exchange the 14Q for $80. And yes that mercon v and I will tell them not to add cleaner.

Then I will drop the pan and change the filter.
