Just got a 04 5.4 FX4, does this have the 3v heads or the 2v heads? Was the truck available with both 3 and 2v or just in one configuration? If both were available in 04 how do I find out which one I have? Sorry for the newb post but the other trucks I had all were 4.6.

 

All 5.4 were 3v. All 4.6 were 2v (until 09). W/ you having an 04, you also have Cam Phaser issue, along w/ 2pc spark plugs.
