Default 33" tires?

I want to do a small lift (2.5" maybe) with 33" tires. I have gone to discounttiredirect.com as well as Tire Rack and with the 18" wheel that I have, the only tire that comes up is the Nitto Terra Grappler on Discount and nothing at Tire Rack. That is using a search that is just 33" on an 18" wheel. Anyone know where to get a listing of different tires that are available?

Well, I dont know what width I am looking for. Would 10.5 be too thin. I am new to the whole lift and larger tires game. I am well versed in the full adjustable coil overs with the lower profile tires and polyurathane bushings to tighten everything up. This is all new to me.

Say 33x10.5x18- what does that equate to. How do I figure out what standard size equals metric sizes?

Lenn,

My setup is 18" wheels
(5.71" backspace). The tires are Pro Comps 33's - 325/60R18 Extreme's. Hope that helps!

Thanks 07FX. Where did you find them? Online first or in a brick and mortar store to decide what you wanted for tires?

I looked online....here actually, at y'all's trucks..decided on the "look" I wanted and went online and found what I wanted at 4WheelParts. Found myself at a local shop shortly after, looking at the XD wheels, talking to the guys there about the look I wanted (on my truck) and the manager helped me put together what I had in mind. I knew I wanted long lasting, deep tread, snow tires with a 'meaty' look and a wide stance. Pro Comps seemed the logical choice to me as they are the looks, quality and price I wanted

^^ Thanks alot for that. I found exactly what I was looking for on there.

I want a 3" lift and 33" tires. Will that look stupid or will 33's fill up the wheel wells ok with only a 3" lift?
