Default 33/12.5 tires

Will 33/12.5 tires fit on a factory 18" rim. Need help, wanting to get new tires

Yes they will fit, but be prepared to get less then the rated milage out of them. Anytime you put a wide tire on a thinner rim(7.5") it will wear in the middle and not the outside. I know this because i have a set of Mickey Thompson baja tires on my stock 17" rims. I think they were rated for a 8.5" rim and that is why they wore so fast.

wont running lower air pressure help the wear?

Its not good run on low tire pressure, the thinner rim causes the the tire to cup. making the center wear prematurely. any small amount of air you would let out would make much aof a difference.
