Key word here is diesel mechaninc. Most diesel 4x4s have a solid front axle and do not have all sorts of crazy suspension geometry like an IFS does. 2.5 is about the highest you can go and still retain a safe geometry and a smooth ride. Any greater than that you will ride a lot stiffer and go through ball joints rather quickly.

Believe it or not, it does hurt components in a relatively short period of time. Mine is about 2.5 (Ranch0 Quicklift) and my upper ball joints are wearing out prematurely.

I have an 01 Scab. I'm thinking about 2.5" level from rough country. Will this hurt anything??? It comes with new shocks, keys, and blocks for the rear I think.

Any increased pressure that caused problems?

i have an 05 screw 2wd and I have toyed around with this set up. I added factory 4x4 blocks in the back and did a 3" spacer in the front. It put a lot of angle on the front end and my steering wheel was never straight. It also put a lot of stress on the upper control arms to the point where they looked excessively stretched out. I took the spacer out and put bilstein adjustable in the front and 4x4 shocks on the back. I set it to the highest setting and there is still a slight rake to it. I am thinking about putting a add a leaf in the back to see where it puts the truck. Steering wheel is straight now btw....hope this gives some insight
