Not sure what you need, but just wondering why you're looking at upgrading to 3.73's?

the build tag on the pumpkin. If it says something like: 3 L 55 its a 3.55 locker. 3 L 73 is 3.73 locker.

How much is it to add a locker to the rear? Can it be done? From what I have noticed, my power wheels are driver front, and passenger rear.

You would also want to have your speedo recalibrated, it would say you were going a little faster than you really are.

Fordguy08: Save yourself the hassle and step up to at least the 4.10s. 3.73s would be a waste of time and won't provide a significant difference.

barnards: Check your door jam for "axle code" then compare to the chart in the link below.

+1, going from 3.55 to 3.73 even if the parts for were free and a buddy did the install for free its still a total waste of time. if you want more bottom end go to at least 4.10 or 4.30 you wont loose miliage if you keep the same driving style because although the motor will be spinning slightly higher rpms for the same given speed, the engine isnt working as hard so it uses less fuel. the two balance each other out so mileage stays the same
