I love when people criticize me for doing all this to a 2wd but hey she handles pretty damn good so far and I havent really been in too many situations where I needed the 4wd plus these tires will help out even more. Then again there was this one time, oh and this other time, and this time when..... haha
.... good thing i live close, and have a REAL truck...
haha jp, jp. but seriously

Oh yea I already have 4.56 gears which should be ok with these right? lol
Im hoping I wont have too much of a problem with the rubbing but if I have to ill do some trimming. This is my experiment so well see what happens. The process should all be done monday afternoon. Ill be putting the struts on sunday and the add a leafs on monday so wish me luck guys.

I think lifted trucks look bad ***** but I have a 2wd so I can't justify doing it, even though it would look the "same" as a 4wd. I wish mine was 4wd but like you say in most cases it isn't necessary.

a lifted 2wd can serve many purposes. my old explorer sport (2wd) had a little lift and bigger tires. the extra ground clearance was perfect for weekend camping/fishing/canoeing trips. it could get me farther away from the yuppies in camrys or travel trailers. but i almost never needed 4x4, since there were roads, they just weren't very well maintained (if at all).
