Default 295's too wide for 7.5" rim?

I want to buy 295/70/18 for my stock wheels. Debating if 295 is too wide for the 7.5" fx4 rim?

295 is definitely pushing the envelope. Generally 285 is considered the max width for a 7.5 rim. The centers of the tread will wear rather quickly.

I havw 325/60/18 on stock rims. Put 55k on my last set of terra grapplers. All wore perfect. Never had an issue on or off-road.

My thoughts exactly. I guess the new question is how much quicker in the center?

Amazing what tire rotations do for a set of tires.

Those wore remarkably flat. Narrower rims are OK if you keep the air pressure down somewhat.

It's a damn good tire. I picked up the g2s. Hope to have the same results.
