Default 285/70/17 or 295/70/17 for my Supercab xlt Stock

Hey guys new here, been doing a lot of research about this subject and need some personal help from you Vets

I just got an 08 Supercab xlt 4x4

came with 245/70/17 tires and I hate how small they look on such a strong truck.

I just really want a experienced person to verify if 285/70/17 tires will perform fine stock (Like no lift, no level kit , etc) and I have stock rims.

If 295/70/17 or even bigger would work that would be even better, feel free to attach pics if you have same truck as me with some 285 tires and up with stock everything.

Thank you

I put 285/70/17 all terrain tires on my stock 2006 4x4 5.4...didn't notice a difference in power and they just barely fit...the model I chose measure 32.9". I have the stock chrome rims with the 7.5 width. That size should work fine on your truck as long as it's 4x4

285 is all the width you want to put on a 7.5" wheel. That'll be a nice increase in tire size and it'll look good.
