Default 2008 sound system

I just got a (new to me) 2008 f-150 lariat supercrew for my birthday and I am looking to add an amp and subs to increase stereo performance. I was asking you guys for any suggestions or what amp and subs to purchase and where the best place is to put them in the truck....TIA

for a small setup put them in a ported box under the rear seat. large setups do a blow threw. or just wall it off behind the driver seat

Can you fit two 12"s along with an amp under the back seat?

Two 12's would require removing the jack, and placing the amp behind the rear seat mounted on the cab wall. Personally I think ported boxes sound like ****, but as everyone knows they do offer a much louder sound than sealed. Sealed is just much tighter and has a better ring to the ears IN MY OPINION.

You might want to step over to the "Stereo/Audio" forum on this site as well. Lots of posts for good amps, head units, and so on.
