I have a 2008 4x4 4.6l. A couple weeks ago the return power steering line rusted through (any rust prevention tips? lol). Local garage replaced it with a hose. Ever since I'm having power steering problems. The power steering is non-existent under 5mph and super loud/whiny and jumpy at slow speeds. Today I decided to bleed the power steering, no change. I did notice a small leak. Could the problem be the hose vs. the metal line that was replaced? Could it be the leak? Or should I check the pump? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
