Default 2008 manual to automatic headlights

Just picked up a 2008 F150 XL today. It has manual headlights now. Is there a way to convert it to automatic?

I have looked into this but never got a solid answer. Don't quote me on this but I think this is how it works: all you need is a sensor that goes on the dash (replaces one already there) and the switch. I believe the 06-08's came pre programmed for auto lights as well as the keyless entry (provided you have the automatic locks) I know my keyless entry pad was plug and play. Maybe someone else can chime in an help?

Where is the best place to get a Keyless entry pad kit for my 2008 F150?

If you have an XLT that is not equipped (XL models aren’t equipped for that)…then wherever you can find one. Ford probably won’t be stocking one for something that old unless they somehow work with newer trucks.
