Maybe some of you can help with this. So when I purchased my truck back in March I noticed it has a phone option on the factory Nav unit. When I push this button nothing happens and at first I didn't really care but now it has me wondering how do I get it to work.

Do I have to have something else installed or what do I need to do to get it to function?

is it a mute button?

 

I read after searching it on google that some people have said it is a mute button but mine does nothing at all. When I push the button I hear it beep just as when I push the other buttons but nothing happens. I enabled the bluetooth on my phone but it does not connect with anything. I am assuming it does not do anything as the manual does not even talk about it.

 

I second your question, just curious what did you find out with this?
I have the same unit and been wondering what its function is all about...
Anybody out there know?
