2008 F150 brake switch
Brake lights were not working on my 08 F150...none of them...R, L, high center. Took switch out and jumped the harness and lights went on, so I assume it is the brake switch. It's working now and I'll replace the switch because one of the contacts appears burned.
What is the blue/white plunger switch that is located above the main brake switch? It appears normally closed and it opens when the brake pedal travels a certain distance

I think acdiecast hit it... what's the colors of the wires? I show a "Cruise Deactivator Switch" as BK-YE and LB-PK for the two wire colors. I'll admit, even during remote start install I've never really paid attention to that
, I've always used the main brake switch wires.

Yea, I assumed it is the cruise control switch too but I was hoping to verify. Still...it wouldn't take much to run the CC off the main brake light switch, which is a much more robust switch
Thanks
