Default 2008 5.4 Motor Removal and Install Instructions

Hello all,

I am a new member on this forum but a long time reader.

Heres my problem: I have a 2008 5.4 2WD with a blown up motor. I need to pull the motor and install another one. Is there anywhere that I can get some step by step instructions on how to do this? I would like to know the proper order of removal / installation of all components.

I've never tackled a project this large before. This was my work truck and I purchased it from my company just to flip. However, it blew up the second day I had it (dang the luck, I drove it for four years every day).

I have the tools and time to do it however, any and all help or advice would be well received.

Thanks in advance!

JT

Any ideas on something I might be able to download (PDF perhaps)? Any downloads available for free?

Not that I know of. This is an expensive process, i know. I did my wife 07 Grand Caravan 2 or 3 years ago. Chilton was huge help. Plus youll need it for other things that come up later on.

I suggest you do like I do. Get one for every vehicle. Itll save you money and time....

I should be a spokesman for these guys.
