I took my truck into the dealer because the ABS and Brake dash lights were on. Ford diagnosed that I needed a new ABS Module and Pump and wanted to charge me $2,200 to fix it and would not give me the part number for it. I had a few questions to hopefully save me some money. Is the ABS Module and Pump 2 separate parts? Is there an aftermarket or non-OEM version? How hard is it to replace? Once it is replaced do I have to take it back to get the codes cleared? Any help you guys have would be awesome, I am on a small island with not a lot of options for service.
