Default 2007 Problems

I bought a brand new 2007 f150 xlt Texas/Oklahoma chrome package supercrew 4.6 truck with 4 miles in June 2007. I have had the truck for two years now and am disappointed with the number of times I have had to take the truck in for warranty repairs. It has 28000 miles on it and I have already had the thermostat, rack&pinion, a/c compressor, and drivers side window switch replaced. All repairs were covered 100% under the warranty, but is this common for a truck this old/new? I use it for everyday driving only, and have never hauled with it (I don't plan to either). Anybody else have these problems?

Ouch. That sucks.

I've got a 2007 F150 FX4 SuperCrew with the 5.4L. Bought it new with 121 miles on it. I've got 39,000 now, and it has never had a warranty issue (knocking on wood).

my has never been in the shop for anything, besides i wrecked my speedometer and they paid for a new one, lol

my buddy's tranny went out at 27k or so, was shifting hard and they replaced the whole trans.

that's not alot of issues, nothing major, sometimes you just gotta work the bugs out...when that amount of parts come together, to make a truck that comes from thousands of manufacturers, you are bound to get some bad parts, it's not ford's fault that they get defective parts...
