What changing the brakes on my truck and rotating the tires when I noticed that the middle leaf spring on my passenger side rear is broke how common of a issue it on these year trucks i haven't been beating on the truck or anything

 

Depends, mine snapped on my 04 and I drove it for 4-5 months that way every now and then the leaf would rotate and I'd have to push it back into place.

I wouldn't recommend towing/hauling with it like that obviously, and it only cost me around $150 to repair at a local spring shop.

 

Mine broke on my 04 and snapped a 5-6 inch piece of the spring out so now I have hose clamps to keep it in place till I get time to fix it.
