2007 F150 won’t go into TPMS learning mode
TPMS light on in a 2007 F150. Found that the right front did not have a sensor at all. Installed new sensor and tried to make the truck go into TPMS learning mode by depressing brake pedal, cycle the ignition 3 times stopping at the run position. Depressing brake pedal again and cycling the ignition three more times. The horn never chirps to verify it is TPMS relearn mode. Has anyone run across this? Is there another way to have it pick up the new sensor? I have driven it for several days and the light is still on so it didn’t learn it by itself.

what type sensor did you install ? the original sensors were band type.. not sure if 07 even had sensors.. has your cluster been swapped out ?

I have a 2007 and it has the original band type TPMS sensors...I can't help with putting into learn mode though...

Thanks for the replies. The cluster is original as far as I know. I did not install a band type sensor. The parts store I work with claimed it was interchangeable. I can communicate with the other sensors but not with the new one I installed. Not sure if I got a bad new sensor or if it is a problem with the truck not going into the learn mode.
