About anything is possible --- but I'd bet the farm O2 sensors are not causing Misfires. Other way around - misfires are causing lean and/or stuck high O2 sensor codes. I'd get those 'Champions' out and throw them away. Do a 'hospital operating room' clean plug change with Motorcraft SP546 plugs, new boots (with little dab of dielectric grease on boot tip), and new springs. Clean all tarnish / corrosion from all contacts and make sure COP clips 'SNAP'.

I have a 2007 King Ranch with the same symptoms. I noticed tonite that it misses at about 2000 RPM in idle with no load. It also misses on the road at 45-55 MPH. Plugs have been changed Motocraft, new coils installed do hear a tick coming from rear of engine. Still trying to diagnose it. It did throw codes for cylinders 5 and 8 before the coils were changed. Codes have been cleared. It is still missing but no codes. Any ideas?

Check torque on those plugs, particularly the hard to reach #4 and 8s. If plugs were installed with elbow calibration, definitely confirm with an actual wrench. Then check for exhaust leaks causing the misfire...one man’s “sight tick” is another’s cacophony.
