Default 2007 battery question.

So my 2007 lariat keeps needing jump started. The battery is newer, having been replaced last winter with a motorcraft battery. When the truck is off something is pulling .5 amps according to my meter. Does any one know if that is normal? I'm taking my battery to get tested today. I'll post results later on. I only drive the truck every couple days. And I unplugged the programmer a few weeks ago to make sure it wasn't that. So the truck is completely stock now. Any ideas/suggestions to check?

.5 amps is fine. It's when you get to .8 amps and above when it becomes suspect. As for the battery goes, make sure you have tight connections, especially the positive. If the battery is testing ok, then make sure your alt is charging. Check the connection from the batt to alt also.

When i did plug the edge programmer in it was showing the truck charging at ~14 volts. But i will check it with the meter to be sure. Thanks.

The motorcraft battery with a date stamp of 10/11 tested bad. With a CCA of only 33. Off to the ford dealer tomorrow to try and get it warrantied.
