2007 5.4l flex fuel issues
Hi, I am new to the forum and have been looking at buying a f-150. I recently found a 2007 that has roughly 34k on it and has been sitting for the past 6 months to a year. What issues might I find? I know about the spark plug issue and I know the cam phasers were an issue for a while but it seems like most the issues have been with the 04-05s. I honestly havent ever been a fan of fords, so i dont know much about them. I really like the 04+ model F-150s. So I figure I might as well give them a shot. Any advice is good advice.
Thanks in advance

I have a 2007 with 5.4 flex fuel.
Engine is quiet and runs very good. Has a 103,000 miles on her now haha. I changed my plugs on my own, 6/8 broke and the lisle tool worked like a charm. I just replaced my fuel pump driver module today. The engine was bogging out sometimes at wot. So far the problem has been fixed. Other then that it's been one of the best trucks I owned.
Now to the check list. If you look at the bottom of the coils and if the boots are brown it's the redesigned heads with the one piece plug, you will not have to worry about breaking plugs. Check fluids, test drive it and listen for anything abnormal. Check underneath truck as well for any damage (rust if not stored properly out of the weather)
