I have a 2006 F150 4x2 with less than 40,000 miles. Earlier this week, my wife started it up and the gauges, the "dummy" lights", radio, power windows, and the seatbelt ding did not work. I thought it might be a fuse or relay, but checked all those and they were fine. The next day, she went to drive it and everything worked fine...she drove it to work (less than five miles), goes in and gets the bank deposit, goes out and restarts it and it quit working again. I picked it up when I got home from work that day and drove it home. As it was sitting idling in the driveway, everything started working again. I took it back to her and 20 minutes later, she got in it to drive home and it quit working again. I am thinking it might be a module of some sort, but I'm not sure which one...please help me figure this out. One other note...when the stuff is not working, when you have the key out of the ignition and you try to use the door lock button, it will not let you lock the door like when the key is in the ignition...thanks in advance for any help with this issue.
