Default 2006 Licoln mark lt

2006 Lincoln Mark Lt Our truck wouldn't stay started... it would start and die like it was starving for gas.and so we had it towed to the dealer and they told us it was the fuel driver module w/harness.. so we got the parts and changed them and still not starting. does this module need to be programmed for it to start?
Thanks
Melvin

Nope its plug and play.. i have seen the driver module wires corrode and short out the fuel pump and or blow the fuel pump fuse.. not as common though as just the module needing replaced.. stupid question but all the wiring was matched up properly correct

they did the diagnostics test at the ford dealer and told us it was the fuel module and the harness due to corrosion. they told us the fuel pump was fine.. i am lost as to what else it could be Is there any way to find out if it was the fuel pump? when it was never picked up in the first diagnostics test.

Turn the key to the "on" position to see if you can hear the fuel pump cycling. Check fuses as well
