Well, tranny was replaced about a month ago, its a 4r75E tranny. And today i got a flashing od light and trans malfunction. I cleared the code.. and the code came back but no od light.


I recently went mudding, and when i came back i washed the undercarriage of the truck as well. (Can mudding even cause a internal tft problem?)

Is it safe to say i have to drop pan and replace tft sensor? Anything to check before i crack it open?

 

Using my edge to check tranny temp, its reading 168 cold start, and then -68 -64 then slowly climbs to 168's

 

You may have some corrosion in the wiring. Especially if you get mud and junk up underneath often.
