2006 f150 lariat rear glass window leak

I had to revisit my bottom seal that I replaced. When I installed the new one, I had cut it to fit the length in between the left and right vertical seals. Well, over time it seemed to have shrunk because when I get car washes I can watch the water flow into the cab!
So for the second time around, my plan is to take one of the leftover seals that came with the replacement set(3 of the 4 are the same two-legged style) and stuff it in without cutting. Also, I will not be putting adhesive on it as I cannot open my rear slider due to a frozen motor. It should allow me to reposition if this idea doesn't pan out.
I WISH someone else would chime in that knows how these seals are supposed to be laid out because Ford's design has me completely baffled on how water is supposed to run down without it going into the cab.

brianpaulrue, thank you for the post as I am going to tackle this project pretty soon here. Would there have been anything you would have done differently?

Im pretty sure it doesn't seal all the way on the bottom of the rear window. There are two rain channels inside the read window of the cab with a drain hole on either channel. If water enters, it'll go into this channel and drain outside beneath the window. My floors never get wet after a wash or hurricane.
