Hi, I am new to vehicle ownership and I inherited an older 2006 f150 FX4 from my older relative. The truck needs new tires and rims and I was wondering if anything besides the stock tires would fit 275/65R18 275/55R20 . I was looking at some used one's Cooper Discoverer Tires ( 265/70R17) with 4 x 6 hole black rims. Does anyone know if these tires and rims are compatible? The seller said they were from 2018 F150 Limited. thank you

 

Don’t know if this helps, but I put 2019 f150 wheels (and tires) onto my 2008 and they fit/drive beautifully. The one thing to note/check is that the lug nuts may be diff. I just reused my 2008/original lugnuts.

If saving money is a goal/concern I’d suggest searching / waiting for a set of “takeoffs” from someone who is upgrading and selling their oem setup. If patient you can find a great deal.
