2005 rear brake problem
I've searched on this forum for my particular problem and haven't found an answer, so here goes...
The right rear brake on my truck engages without me putting my foot on the brake pedal. This happens at any speed...going slow or up to 55mph. I have a regular cab, 2 wheel drive, 8' bed. When this happens, the truck starts bumping and shuddering, gets harder and louder until I have to stop and pull over. I'm assuming its the caliper.
I've have it in the shop twice in 2 weeks. I've replaced the calipers twice, replaced flexible brake lines at caliper, turned the rotor, replaced all brake fluid with new. Since doing all this, the problem is somewhat better, but it still happens from time to time.
I have an appointment with the local Ford service dept tomorrow and would like to have an idea or suggestion before I go in.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
