Default 2005 lower valence/ air dam

I'm looking to put a different lower valence/ air dam on my 05 screw. I'm wondering if a FX2/FX4 lower will fit from a 07-08? Some say it will fit and some say it won't because the bumpers are different. I have seen 04-05s with a lower that looks like a FX, but couldn't confirm.

I don't have to have a FX lower. I just want something that makes the front look lower. I know there are some aftermarket like 3D, but I don't want to pay $400-$500. I also don't want to change my bumper to the round fogs. I like the horizontal fogs.

you can see in the pic I have the standard lower.
Thanks!

I know this doesn't answer your question about the fx4 valance, but I found a 3D Carbon valance for 150, and painted to match. It took awhile to find on sale though. Yours would look nice in white.

That's nice. I'm not sure if I like the 3 center cut outside. I'm still wondering about a valance for a 07-08 fitting an 05.

It looks to me like the 04-08 bumpers look the same, but might mount different to the frame.
They all have the 2 indents on the bottom side. Maybe get a cheap regular valance from an 07/08 from the JY and test fit?

The bumpers are definitely different, but where the lower bolts up looks really close. Just found a FX2 lower for $200 on Ebay. Let's hope it fits, if not hopefully I can sell it for a small profit.

Well, it fits with some slight trimming. And, if you want to use all the bolts. You will have to elongate 2 holes in the bumper or drill 2 new ones in the lower valence.

that front end would look sweet with a PTM bumper... chrome is out of place now.

The new lower panel looks great and you did a good job with the install, as if it was meant for it.

Makes me think I outa look for one too.
