Post 2005 Ford f150

I was driving my 2005 Ford f150 manual transmission down the Hwy about 55 mph when all my gauges shut off. I pulled over and turned it off then tried to start it and the battery was dead. Anyone have any idea what this could be from?

There’s a chance it took the battery with it. Fully charge it and have testerd before cranking so you don’t burn your new alternator up with it.

Alternator. I recommend only buying a NEW one. The quality control of these re manufactured parts is slipping a lot, in my opinion.
