Default 2005 F150 value?

Hi, this is my first post. I bought a 5.4 3V after only ever having chevys (5.3s,6.2). I own a ‘15 Kr 6.7 and it’s amazing. I wanted to keep miles off and get a 4wd daily as I’m up north and farm etc. purchased this 14 months ago with 105k miles. Had cam phaser noise and I researched the timing chain, phaser replacement and got it for 4000. Spent 1100 on parts and did the job myself, it was simple thanks to fordtechmakuloco, a savior! Previous owner had hole in timing cover from worn tensioner pulley that I didn’t see until after purchase once oil started hitting the fan and spraying everywhere. Changed spark plugs and boots, used only motor craft parts and upgraded oil pump from day one and this thing has repaid me by loud knocking and lost oil pressure. It’s been sitting since mid oct since harvest was full swing etc.
new engine from Fraser is 3200 and some change. I can swap but I’m ready to set a match to this sucker.
Without knowing the detailed engine failure, is it worth anything as it sits? Cut my losses? It’s been out of sight out of mind for these last weeks which is why I haven’t towed it into a shop. Body is immaculate- no rust two tone paint and new tires.
I’m at a loss really, on what to do, so any input is helpful.

Did you clean out the oil pan and pick up screen or replace the pickup when you did the oil pump? and got the O ring on the pickup tube?
I cant really think of anything else that would cause low oil pressure especially with all new pump and components..

Yes the oil pan drop is important . Plus what was the condition of the valve train -sludge etc .Then there is the end play of the crank and thrust washers which is an engine killer . Its easy to not catch everything like I failed to use the ratcheting tensioners and I didn't open the vct bodies and clean its filter . But I did replace all rollers and lashs , a lot of guys skip that $ 300 dollar fix . That is where a lot of noise comes from . Plus you have to get this engine clean and keep it that way .

This everyone’s worst nightmare. You research the repairs, spend a lot of time and money thinking you are getting a better truck for your efforts, but instead get nothing, and worse you have a truck you love but can’t use.

Let’s see if we can drill down to the root of your problem. There’s not a lot of information in your OP so allow me to start from the beginning...

First of all; is there no oil pressure as in “zero” psi? Or is it just low? And how do you know? Are you relying on the dash gage because that runs off an oil pressure switch and can only indicate zero or normal despite the actual pressure. That switch installs on the oil filter housing. Any chance the wiring was damaged or the plug got disconnected while you were doing your timing chain replacement? If you put a pressure gage on the pump output what reading do you get at idle and say at 2000 rpm? That might indicate what’s going on. If the pressure gage indicates 15 or 20 at idle then you may only have a bad pressure switch or a bad connection. That’s where I would start.
