Default 2004 Wipers not working...

So I bought this truck used this past September. They told me they had replaced the wiper motor on it. Which is fine the wipers worked okay when I bought it. As the days got colder if I used the wipers in the morning they would work but would be sluggish for the initial few cycles. Now when it is decently cold like around -15 C (5 F) the wipers wont even move until the heat from the engine warms under the hood enough that something starts to kick in. Can anyone help? The motor should be good since it is new (unless it is a not good brand). Does something need to be lubed? Or some sort of other electrical that is sensitive to cold temperature??

Thanks

P.S. My wiper blades were not frozen to my windshield

Just an update

I finished school so I had some time to get working on the truck. So i did some testing with a warm wiper motor then chilling the motor and it turned out that it was the motor. So I took the motor apart, the drive gears were all good. The stator and casing were badly corroded though. Probably the reason why the wipers wouldn't work good on initial start up. Once the motor started spinning it would loosen up the corrosion. Anyways I cleaned it all up and reassembled with rtv sealant and now it works great.

So moral of the story. Avoid cheap remaned units. Unless you can get one cheap enough that it is feasible to further repair it.
