Default 2004 turning itself off while driving

First let me say that yes, I used the search function, but I am still having a problem.

Today my truck started acting up by bogging down when I got into the throttle, I had to keep in the throttle to keep it from dying. It would last a few seconds, then go back to normal for maybe a minute before doing it again. I pulled over to the side of the road, popped the hood and a few seconds later it was like someone turned off the truck. I hopped back in and it fired right back up, only to die a few minutes later. There is no sputter, it just goes from running to not. No codes, or check engine light.

I cleaned the maf which wasnt to bad, checked the fuel control module for corrosion and cracks and I got nothin.

Any ideas as to what direction to head next? Thanks for any help.

Sounds like either a fuel pump problem or a throttle position sensor problem.

for anyone wondering, I disconnected the negative battery terminal last night and let it set until this morning to clear the computer and its running normal again. Prior to doing this it would only run about 30 seconds prior to shutting down. I think the truck was going into "fail safe" mode however the display wasnt showing it. Still no codes so I will keep an eye on it and see how it goes.

My old mustang did that. It ended up being the computer. But it was the same way, If you unplugged the battery and let it sit it would run fine for a little bit
