2004 Shock/Strut Suggestions
Gentlemen,
I have a 2004 Lariat 4x2 SuperCab that is in desperate need of new shocks/struts. Since the truck is 13 years old, I am not wanting to spend a ton of money on them. I just want it back to it's original ride. There are so many shocks to choose from ranging in price from $50 - $150 each. It isn't a 4x4 so it doesn't go mudding. I do have 20" Michelins on it, but that is it as far as suspension is concerned.
Also, since I have struts on the front, would it be smart to replace the coils as well or save some dough and just do the shocks?
Any suggestions/thoughts/tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I just replaced all mine with KYB coilovers and shocks from Rock Auto, they ride great. The KYB is called a Strut-Plus, because it's a new strut/shock and a new coil.
Front Strut-plus's are $134 each
Rear Shocks are $39 each
If you get the Strut-plus they are alot easier to replace yourself, since they are all in one and you don't need a spring compressor to take apart the old coilover.
