It's the clutch pak in the diff. THAT is a known problem with these trucks.

If ther fluid and friction modifier change don't fix it, it needs new a new clutch pak. The clutches make the LSD work.

If changing the oil and adding a moddifier dosen't fix it I would vote for a rebuild vs a swap. Anything you get from a junk yard should at least have all of the seals replaced and the R&P spec'd. You may find the R&P are out of spec and need to be replaced anyway. You just never know what your getting from a junk yard unless your plan is to upgrade to a heavy duty rear end and rebuild it before replacing.

There are plenty of companies out there that make good R&P sets. And if you ever plan on doing a lift with bigger tires maybe you buy a R&P for that size.

I also have a Jeep and R&P swaps are common, so is upgradeing to heavy duty axels like a Dana 60 or something.

The glass is half full on this one.......make it better like the Bionic Man.....nnnneeeeeeeerrrrr (the bionc man sound when doing some cool)

lol
