Any help or advice would be hugely appreciated. My speedometer is stuck at 0 but all my other gauges function just fine. Cruise control works too.

Should I try replacing the speed sensor on the transmission? Has anyone done this? And is there anything else to look at as a cause for the speedo failure?

 

I would think if the speed sensor is broken, the cruise wouldn't work, but maybe they aren't related.

Hopefully someone with direct experience will chime in.

 

Someone else will be along with better info than I can offer. But there is some procedure you can do to initiate a gauge/cluster test, that (I think) pings all the gauges to test them (0 to max and back). I’d try to do that (to test actual gauge) before spending any money or doing anything else.
