I bought a new ignition cylinder with pats keys from autozone and had a locksmith come out to program them and he tried twice and couldn't get the keys to program.
Im gonna order new Strattec keys and he said if they don't work then its definitely something wrong within the truck itself.
Has this happened to anyone else before?

 

what was the initial problem with the old cylinder and keys ?

 

The original ignition got busted out from someone trying to steal it, the transceiver around the switch eas cracked so i put another one on.
