Im new to the forums and have a quick question. I have a 2004 fx4 and my tailgate is jammed. This happened about a week ago and I was able to kick it to free it up. Now I have no luck. Any idea on why and how to fix? Thanks a ton guys

 

Well the bearings are probably junk but if you can get to them spray them with a bunch of grease or oil and start working it around if you can. Mine freed up when mine did the same but it never jammed just got tight

Just went out and sprayed some lube in the latches and hit the unlock button and heard the tailgate unlock. Before it wasn't unlocking. Don't know if the lube did it but now its good. Thanks!
