I have a 2004 f150 2004 fx4 4 door currently as almost 80000 miles ,my problems are abs light on ,brake light just came,no cruise control and ac compresser not coming on the man I bought it from has put a switch on it for the compressor to come on and # 14 fuse is good .reverse lights and brake lights work ,any solutions?

Have you checked relays under the hood? Sounds like the guy gave up on the issue and just hot wired his compressor to work. Hopefully he didn’t do any further damage.

 

Sounds like several issues.. is your third brake light working ?

 

I will check the 3rd brake light later on ,also went to push emergency brake pedal down it felt line it didn't get tight While it was going down and I pulled the release and it didn't come up ,I had to pull the release and pull up by hand

 

And in the fuses in the panel I can take a volt meter and touch on the metal bare in the plastic fuse and touché on another side of fuse behind it and it ohm out like it's good but is that normal sense the fuses may not go to the same thing
