That's definitely a problem, it's just hanging out and flopping around... Does anyone happen to know how that seats in there, I tried pushing it in and using a pry bar to get it back in but nothing. I'll tear it all apart Friday if I can't get it to seat any other way.

All that holds it is a c-clip and it pops in but has to be straight when going in, but depending on how long its been out the end may be buggered up so if a lot of force is used and wont go may have to tear aprt and inspect it, but on the other hand ive had new ones fight me. One thing that may help just undo the upper control arm and the nut under the cap on the hub and try that.

The joint does look tight and bound up so maybe just take upper control off the hub housing and pop it in
