Question 2004 F150 4.6l Transmission code A
Need your help guys. I have a 2004 f150 4.6l 4x2 STX with a bad transmission. According to ford part website my vin shows that I have a 4R75W and my door tag shows A under TR. Can anyone confirm that is the correct trans? I was under the impression it would have the 4R70W.

I have the same issue exactly, except my is a 4x4

What month was your truck made? You can also call the dealer with your vin and they can verify what it actually has.
